Top Ten Tuesday #1: "Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree"

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Follow the link to learn more :)

Today's Prompt:

"Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree"

I've never participated in this meme before, but when I saw today's prompt I just had to join in :) It's such a super fun prompt!
And of course I could do about five hundred books I wouldn't mind left under my tree, but *sigh*......I don't have the time to spam you with my entire TBR pile. (And, okay, there's a reason it's called Top Ten Tuesday).

Here are my picks:
(and beware, there're a lot of caps ahead as I lose control of my fangirly self.....)

1: A Court of Thorns and Roses - by Sarah J. Maas.
I still haven't got round to reading this book :( Grrrrrr......

2: Scarlet - by A. C. Gaughen.
It's a ROBIN HOOD RETELLING AND I LOVE ROBIN HOOD AND IT LOOKS SO EPIC AND EXCITING <3

3: Unhooked - by Lisa Maxwell.
It's a DARK, CREEPY, ROMANTIC, ACTION-PACKED Peter Pan retelling, OH MY WORD, and I LOVE Peter Pan and I NEED THIS NOW.

4: Illuminae - by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.
I have heard so many amazing things about this book so naturally I need it.

5: The Chemist - by Stephenie Meyer.
This looks so so so so good. And the cover oozes creepy........

6: Flawed - by Cecelia Ahern
I will read anything and everything Ahern writes, and this book looks FANTASTIC AND AMAZING

7: Darkthaw - by Kate A. Boorman
I loved the first book in this series and I need the rest of the series now please

8: But I Love Him - by Amanda Grace
This looks absolutely heart breaking, but it's a subject I feel strongly about and I'd love to read this story.

9: Six of Crows - by Leigh Bardugo
Am I the only person in the world who hasn't read this series yet? I DESPERATELY NEED IT, PLEASE SANTA

10: To Catch a Pirate - by Jade Parker.
I love pirates. They're dashing and hot and amazing and this book looks INCREDIBLE <3

I haven't read a Leigh Bardugo yet - so nope! We may be the only two people on the planet who haven't read it, but at least there are two of us! :) I need to get to that since Crooked Kingdom has gotten so much praise! But eep... HYPE!

Great picks and hope you get to some of these soon (especially ACOTAR ;) ;) )

  9. You have so many good choices on your list I hope Santa listens and leave you a few under the tree 🎄
I have pretty much all of these books on my list or in my Kindle. Except darkthawed that one looks really cool. I know it's a number two in the series but I'm going to check out number one.
This is my first time doing the top 10 feature too. But I just started blogging again so I guess it doesn't count everything is a first time LOL

  16. Looks like we're in the same boat - we haven't read Six of Crows either! Yes read Illuminae, hope you enjoy it since we absolutely love it. A Court of Thorns and Roses is good too, it's very loosely based off Beauty and the Beast. If only Santa could get around to everyone. :):)
