Weekly What's Up - reading, writing, life
So you may notice a few changes in this 'round-up', the first being it's not called a round-up anymore. Haha. I just felt like a change, something more original and exclusive to my blog, so I changed the heading ;)
It's the first week of March! And it was my brother's birthday on Friday and he's now 16 AND HOW'D THAT HAPPEN?? He's getting olllllllld :( And even though he's younger than me he's so freaking tall and I'm just feeling short and tiny and weird. I love him though <3 He's awesome (most of the time).
I reviewed Roar by Cora Carmack, Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas, and A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas in one mini book review post HERE. I found all books so disappointing.
I did a Romanticised Abuse post about the problematic romantic content in Roar by Cora Carmack. You can read it HERE.
There's also a book blitz up for a thriller called Nothing Bad Happens Here. Check it out :)
I wrapped up February and shared some tentative plans for March!
I reviewed Mercury Rises for its blog tour, and I highly recommend it. It's such an awesome YA retelling of Robin Hood.
I reviewed The Devil's Revolver and The Devil's Standoff in a mini book post. This duology is excellent - if you love fierce heroines and the Wild West, read it.
I got these two from Netgalley! I'm so excited to start The Raging Ones!
Heather reviews Gunslinger Girl
Angela reviews Sisters First
Greg reviews The Marriage Pact
Olivia reviews My Cousin Rachel
So how has your week been?! What are you reading and watching?
