Return to Cherry Tree Lane as Mary Poppins magically reenters the lives of grown-up Jane and Michael Banks, and creates new memories with Michael's children, Annabel, John and Georgie.
This beautifully illustrated storybook retells the new film, Mary Poppins Returns.

Mary Poppins is a heartwarming classic that keeps enchanting people years after the initial books and movie were released. I'm so looking forward to watching the unofficial sequel - the film Mary Poppins Returns - and this storybook turned out to be a worthy retelling and a lovely story.
The illustrations are adorable. Every character is so beautifully composed, and the colour palette is soft, warm, and calming. There's a good use of negative space, and I love how thoughtfully and artfully the occasional bit of text is incorporated into the illustrations. There are patterns, there are shapes, there's colour, there's movement - it's a fast and enjoyable story, but the illustrations are worth your time examining.
Overall, a wonderful picture book.
You're never too old to appreciate and enjoy a storybook. Mary Poppins Returns is retold in this beautifully and carefully illustrated tale, and bursts with heart, warmth, and joy. It's perfect for reading to young children, especially.
