Monthly Wrap-Up: January-February

(I haven't had sweets in so long and I was craving liquorice and this pic is the closest I could get ;)

Tomorrow is February! January is almost behind us. That means we're a month into 2019, and I can't quite believe it.

What did I get up to this month?

GED studying:
I started studying early, spent every spare minute doing lessons and studying, and consequently burnt-out two weeks in. Which is typical of me, btw. But now I've carved out a better schedule and things are going really well.

Blog redesign
: Yeah, I redesigned my blog again. But in my defence, the blogger templates on Etsy are amazing and so, so insanely reasonable. This particular one was on sale, too. Only $4.60! I highly recommend checking out Best for Blogger if you're thinking about getting a new template.

Exercise: I've been keeping up the exercise every day - not a lot, but it's happening. I've also been going on the occasional long walk with my brother.

Writing:
I've been getting up at 5:00am every morning to write/outline/work on my WIP. I can't believe I'm doing it, but it actually feels good to get up that early. It feels productive.

Publishing events:
I went to a media presentation at Penguin Random House SA a few days ago, and I have two more publishing events coming up in February. So excited!
